The Summer Swing event on September 14, 2023 was an evening full of warm emotions, inspiration and sincere appreciation for our outgoing chairman, Gerrit Rauws. This unique event took place at the enchanting BELvue Museum in Brussels and gave us the opportunity to celebrate two special moments: the farewell of a visionary leader and the welcoming of a new phase under the chairmanship of Kristof Vanden Berghe.
The evening started with a festive reception. Then we literally and figuratively put Gerrit Rauws in the spotlight through warm speeches and a painting by Zonnelied vzw.
During the event, there was ample opportunity to network and make contacts. It was a pleasure to meet fellow industry professionals and talk about shared goals and visions. In addition, we were taken into the small and large stories of the museum by costumed guides.
The 2023 Summer Swing event was first and foremost a tribute to Gerrit Rauws, and it was a success thanks to the presence and involvement of our valued guests. On behalf of VIVEL, we would like to express our deep gratitude once again to everyone who made this evening so special.
As the very first chairman, Gerrit was one of the founders of our organisation. We will build on his accomplishments and continue to work for the growth and prosperity of our organization. We look with pride at what has been achieved and full of enthusiasm at what lies ahead.
